I’m a firm believer that we don’t own our children. We can’t tell them what to do or how to feel. We can and should guide them, respect them, encourage them to make good healthy choices but we don’t own them. They are on loan until our little fledglings are ready to leave our big homely nest. Here are my two loaned humans, growing up fast, teaching me about myself in return for daily rants about brushing their teeth and eating their salads.
I’ve not shot enough personal work recently. Various reasons all too lengthy and personal for the internet. Needless to say I will rectify that, personal work is what helps photographers and I guess anyone grow creatively. You use the time and space to try new things, push yourself out of your comfort zone which eventually is passed on to your clients.
